For centuries charming singing has attracted attention to women singers. The argument about which vocal is better – male or female – is eternal, but modern scientific researches suggest that it was the female voice that was created by nature especially for singing and music.

When women began to sing to children, having noticed that birds singing calms babies, the story, of course, will not tell. However, at this stage, the female voice received its main quality – purity of sound. As the British scientists told us a couple of years ago, they are sure that men perceive the male and female voices in different areas of the brain.

At the same time the male voice “hears” a special zone, the presence of which is due to the same evolution which made men verbally communicate with each other much earlier than with women. But the female voice for a man is perceived precisely by that part of the brain which also perceives music.

This discovery makes possible to assert that for a man a woman’s voice is music. Maybe that is the reason why men like women singers so much.

And although male vocals have always been in demand in art, the nature still created a talent for singing specifically for women making it an important tool for interacting with the world.
